ROMANTIC PORTO ELOPEMENT INSPIRATION
DESTINATION WEDDING PORTUGAL
A romantic elopement - inspired couple session in porto
There’s something about Porto that feels effortlessly cinematic.
The textured walls, soft faded colors, narrow streets, old trams, imperfect light, and quiet atmosphere create the perfect setting for intimate destination wedding imagery that feels both timeless and alive.
This couple session in Porto was inspired by the feeling of a modern elopement : spontaneous, emotional, elegant, and connected to the city itself. Rather than focusing on posed moments or traditional portraits, we simply wandered through the streets together, letting the atmosphere guide the experience naturally.
From hidden alleys and historic architecture to movement-filled moments crossing the streets of Porto, every image was created with the intention of capturing emotion, texture, and the beauty of imperfection.

Experimenting a new camera
This session was also special because I used a little Olympus camera for part of the shoot, experimenting with a different visual rendering and framing approach.
Some of the images ; especially those with the visible frame lines and more textured composition, were created during this process of testing and exploration. I loved how it added an even more raw, immersive, and film-inspired feeling to the gallery.
Trying new tools and creative approaches is something that continuously inspires my work. I’m always drawn to imagery that feels alive, imperfect, emotional, and deeply connected to a moment rather than overly polished.
DESTINATIOn WEDDING in porto
Porto is such an inspiring destination for couples dreaming of an intimate wedding experience abroad.
Whether it’s a city elopement, a civil ceremony at the town hall followed by portraits through the streets, or a destination wedding weekend in Portugal, the city offers an incredible balance between elegance, authenticity, and atmosphere.
What I love most about photographing couples in Porto is how naturally cinematic everything feels. The city doesn’t need much : beautiful light, movement, architecture, and genuine connection are already enough to create imagery that feels editorial and emotional at the same time.
For couples planning a destination wedding in Portugal, Porto is also a wonderful alternative to more traditional luxury destinations.

As a French destination wedding photographer based between Europe and Argentina, I regularly travel across Europe and worldwide to document intimate weddings, elopements, and editorial-inspired celebrations.
If you’re planning a destination wedding in Porto, Portugal, or anywhere abroad, I would love to hear more about your story and the atmosphere you want your images to hold.
